Behavior Professional Development

Responding to Problem Behavior

Technology Professional Development

Using Apps in Everyday Instruction

  • September 2014- Wake County Public School System

  • Various iPad and computer applications were introduced

  • During this course, I learned about many new applications and online tools to use in the classroom

  • The tool I used a significant amount after learning about it in this course was Google Classroom. This app allows the teacher to create an online "classroom" where they can post assignments and references for the students to interact with.

  • I used Google Classroom with my 8th grade students. They wrote a piece about a career and then shared it with their classmates on our class page. The students then read and responded to their peers.
